Jon and Ryan share some ideas for using home automation and smart devices for the home studio, as well as smaller scale task automation with macro software, scripting, backups and more.
Jon uses many smart plugs for his video recording setup, activated by shortcuts app on phone, or stream deck, even through Siri.
Ryan hasn’t gone into the home automation world yet, but has a wildly complicated backup system with local and remote servers.
